NRB Global Bank formally opened its 5 Islami Banking Sub-Branches on December 21, 2020 at Ranabhola Sub-Branch, Turag, Dhaka; Kaliapara Sub-Branch, Chandpur; Chandanaish Sub-Branch, Chandanaish, Chattogram; Malghar Sub-Branch, Anowara, Chattogram and Moriom Nagar Sub-Branch, Rangunia, Chattogram. Syed Habib Hasnat, Managing Director of the bank has inaugurated the operation of the Sub-Branches as chief guest through online. Additional Managing Director Md. Golam Sarwar and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, Deputy Managing Director Ataus Samad, Divisional Heads from Head office, Branch Managers & distinguished clients were also present on the occasion.
NRB Global Bank has been providing Islamic banking services along with conventional banking through the launch of Islamic Banking window from among the existing branches. From January 01, 2021 onward the Bank is switching to full fledged Islamic Banking Operations with the new name Global Islami Bank. It was expected that through the latest technological support, the bank will provide quality service to the customers & will expand its network in home & abroad to provide “Great Experience” to its stakeholders.
